The Multi-Way Curve Helix conveyor (Standard Steel Design) is a steel coated Helix curve with a very tight and fixed inner radius moving products up and down. This conveyor is most suitable when there is a need for:
Gaining or losing height
Keeping products aligned and orientatedAsk for quotation
Multi-Way Curve Helix conveyor (Standard Steel Design) is a compact curve with 2 possible inner radius options: 942, 767 mm. Since the inner radius is fixed, it is not influenced by the conveyor width, meaning even the widest curves move through the most compact radius. No in- and outlet sections result in a small footprint making the curve suitable for use within a limited space.
Gaining or losing height
With this conveyor type it is possible to twist the curves frame and make it turn up and down, when a conveyor needs multiple levels we call it a Helix Conveyor. If not we recommend our Curve Spiral Conveyor. Depending on the inner radius the chosen Curve Spiral Conveyor can overcome a height difference of 280 mm (radius: 767 mm) and 340 mm (radius: 942 mm) at a 180 degree curve.
Keeping products aligned and orientated
Our Multi-Way Curve Helix conveyors are ideal for moving food products up and down when alignment and product orientation is important. Because of the connical shape plastic links the belt shape doesn't collapse at the inner radius. Meaning no movement of the belt itself minimising product movent on the belt whilst being conveyed.
Our Multi-Way Curve Helix conveyor (Standard Steel Design) is constructed out of the following materials:
- Frame and supports made of coated steel
- Drive and idle shaft made of coated steel
- Modular belt made of plastic (PA)
- Motor (SEW) positioned on drive shaft on outer radius (on inner Radius or under the curve is an option)
Standard belt widths available (other belt widths upon request)
